The Manor at Lake Morton is owned and managed by local Lakeland residents, Louis and Lori Garrard, not by a corporation or senior care conglomerate.
The apartments at The Manor at Lake Morton are designed to provide our residents with a safe and comfortable living environment while providing special attention to the needs associated with memory care. Apartments are generously sized and equipped with safety features such as zero entry showers and emergency pull cords in bedrooms and bathrooms.
Our apartments feature a Memory Box by the front door where residents and their families can place pictures and other memorabilia to help residents identify their home and stay connected with family members. Most apartments also have interior and exterior windows to allow residents to enjoy the privacy of their home while still being able to see what’s going on outside. Residents can come and go from their apartment whenever they wish, giving them a sense of control that instills calm.
The Manor at Lake Morton provides a variety of activities to help residents stay active and engaged. Each month, we plan activities designed to appeal to every resident, such as crafts, movies, puzzles and games, reminiscing and gardening. We also feature seasonal and holiday-related activities and crafts.
