The premium rooms and services of the 3 home grouping (Peppers Estate, Abiding Care and Grand Care) are priced better than the larger campus style of communities, which often feature extensive but rarely used activities, while underperforming at actual Care.
At the Peppers there is the perfect mix of activities with close personal live-in caregivers who come to know the seniors like family. The Peppers has 6 beds, all private, as well as 2 retirement additional rooms for 2 high functioning retirees as well.
Abiding Care is located near Cottage Hospital, and is a smaller less expensive home with 6 beds in both private and shared rooms. Cost effective care from live-in caregivers provides intimate individual care.
Grand Care on the Mesa in Santa Barbara is also an inexpensive home, with 6 shared beds in a large newer home on a great street and very near the Ocean side Park. Excellently run by very experienced live-in staff.
All homes can take memory care, recoveries, Hospice, bedridden, and provide aid with all activities of daily living (bathing, walking, dressing, eating, etc.).
