Providing quality in home care for seniors. Whether a family member needs a little extra help around the house, assistance recovering from a hospital stay or someone to check in on them throughout the week, Right at Home's in-home care is the answer. Our care services are built around your specific needs.
Right at Home is a national organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those they serve. We provide In-Home supportive care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults. From taking away loneliness to ensuring proper nutrition, companionship care and homemaking have many benefits for patients. With a homemaker, patients will receive all the benefits of a companion—such as transportation—but with added bonuses. Homemaking extends to include tasks such as cooking, cleaning and even grocery shopping. If you suspect your loved one isn’t eating well, for example, having a homemaker available to cook nutritious meals can turn around your family member’s health.
When restrictions of aging, disability, chronic illness or cognitive difficulty make it challenging for individuals to care fully for themselves at home, home health aides can assist. A home health aide improves the quality of life for people through professional, hands-on care and compassionate kindness. For many Right at Home clients, a home health aide or caregiver becomes a trusted friend.
Home health aides with specialized training can administer a client’s medication or check vital signs under the direction of a registered nurse or other medical professional. Qualified home health aides may also change bandages and dressings and help with medical equipment. Typically, when in-home clients need skilled health care, home health aides are trained as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Assistant (PCA).*
Once you contact us, your local Right at Home office begins a personal assessment of your loved one’s specific needs. We set up an initial in-home visit with your senior and your family members and we interact in-depth about what services would work best for what your elder needs. Next, we develop a Custom Care Plan just for your senior and work with you on any modifications. We then search our team of highly trained, bonded/insured caregivers to find the appropriate team member for your loved one. Matching details include your senior’s needs and interests and the relational compatibility of your loved one and our at-home care provider.bathing and dressing
