Like the town of Taos itself, Taos Retirement Village has a unique atmosphere and culture that you won’t find in most senior living communities. Taos Retirement Village prides itself in the fact that it is not a cookie-cutter facility that offers the same generic, replicated model that many other senior living facilities around the country offer. Our eclectic community of artists, educators, authors, crafts men and women, poets, musicians, and business people bring their unique gifts to our Village. Taos Retirement Village has character, a vibrant and unique history and a vibe that attracts residents who want something different, something unique, something special.
The beauty of Taos is encompassed in its rich history and cultural diversity, set against an amazing backdrop of Taos mountains. The soul of New Mexico is said to be found here. You will be captivated by the myriad of outdoor activities such as the Rio Grande Gorge, the Enchanted Circle, and Taos Ski Valley. Within walking distance of Taos Retirement Village, you can enjoy the Plaza, museums, restaurants and shops.
