Ahva Living of East Dubuque was originally built as a school in 1893.
This historic building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. The architecture is a Romanesque Revival style that is captivating. The last graduating class was in 1978. Residents and families can still recall going to high school in the former school.
