The family behind Christian Fellowship House has been involved in caring for the needy for 150 years, starting with an orphanage in Germany circa 1840. They established housing for retired seamen in New York City from 1920-1945, and built nursing and adult homes in Long Island and New Jersey. The family is now in its 6th generation of upholding this fine tradition and is direct descendants of Dr. Martin Luther.

Loving care and spiritual encouragement in senior years
Trust your loved ones to the care of a family run, non-denominational facility. This is a family that you can trust with your loved ones, primarily because of God's grace and mercy. In April of 2009, Rev. Paul & Florence Steffens' daughter, Pamela Horvath, was appointed as the new administrator. Pam has been assisting her father for many years, and Steve and Pam Horvath make a great team in running the business.
