Solvang Friendship House offers varying levels of care based upon the needs of seniors requiring assistance with ‘activities of daily living.’
Basic Care – A resident who is primarily independent, but may require medication monitoring and dispensing, meal reminders, housekeeping and laundry assistance. Intermediate Care -A resident who has few to moderate physical issues, requires medication management and dispensing or special medication needs. Memory Care – A resident with advanced physical problems requiring specialized medications such as eye drops, cream or inhalers, or requires staff assistance in the management of diabetes, pain issues, anxiety medications or comprehension issues. Full assistance of one or two staff members may be needed for all daily living activities including ambulations and transfers.
